We are committed to publishing diverse stories and bringing unique life experiences to children's literature.

We are currently seeking:

• children's picture books ages 3-8

• Early reader chapter books ages 6-9

Please carefully review and follow the below submission guidelines and process.

Email your complete manuscript to submissions@modernmarigoldbooks.com

• Subject line: "SUBMISSION [Author Name]"

• Manuscripts must be attached as a PDF file

• Manuscripts must be double spaced and include the author's name and tentative title

In the body of your email, please include:

• A brief description of your manuscript and targeted age range

• What is YOUR story? Include a brief bio, what inspired you to write this story and any other relevant information

• Why is it important for children to read your story and how does your story fill a gap in children's literature?

• Why do you think Modern Marigold Books would be a good fit as a publisher for your story?

Please note:

• Manuscripts recieved outside of the submission period will not be considered.

• Submissions that do not follow the guidelines and process will not be considered.

• We will respond within 6 weeks from the close of the submission period
